Depending on the size of your group, our menu options vary from set menus to à la carte choices. If the weather allows, we really recommend that you enjoy your meal on our great terrace, with an unbeatable view.

Le Mouton Noir is the top place for fun in Verbier. Ideally situated at the Médran cable car stop, the restaurant is perfect for all kinds of events, with its huge terrace overlooking the Combins range. Our spaces are perfectly suited to your events, in the evening only in winter, and evenings and lunchtimes in the summer. Our DJ sets the mood on the terrace in winter, and in summer this outdoor area is available for private events.
With an area of 600 m² split between indoor and outdoor areas over two levels, the Mouton Noir is a magnificent setting, especially for its views, for weddings, birthdays or any other celebration that is important to you. We can receive up to 250 guests on the terrace in good weather to make your wedding an unforgettable event. We work with wedding planners or catering companies in Verbier.

Where is the Mouton Noir restaurant located?
Le Mouton Noir restaurant is at 2200 metres altitude at Les Ruinettes, just opposite the Médran cable car stop. An exceptional setting with an unbeatable view with your meal!
The restaurant is on the 1st floor and the self-service cafeteria & creperie are on the ground floor.
What are your opening times?
We are open just in winter for lunch, from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The bar is open until 4:30 p.m. so you can sit on with a hot or cold drink at high altitude.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the Mouton Noir. Your four-legged friends can also enjoy the spectacular view from our terrace.
Do you have vegetarian and gluten-free options?
Yes, we have vegetarian options and gluten-free dishes on request. Whether you’re a vegetarian or have specific meal requirements, we’re sure we can satisfy your appetite.
Do I need to book a table in advance?
Absolutely, it is highly recommended that you book in advance. Reserve on line or phone us at +41 27 771 54 41, preferably between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Do you have a terrace with a view?
Oh yes, and what a view! Our large terrace offers you a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks. In winter or in summer, this is the perfect place to enjoy a good meal outdoors.
Does the restaurant offer wheelchair access?
Due to our location in the mountains, access may be difficult for people with reduced mobility. However, we will do our best to welcome everyone as best we can.

Can I come by car?
Unfortunately, because of our location at high altitude, access by car is not possible. But don’t worry, the Médran cable car can bring you right to our door!
