Timeless flavours
Flavours from the four corners of the world make up our dishes. A wonderful satay sauce with fennel roots, tandoori spices over chanterelle mushrooms or even ginger to add a hint of spice to our beurre blanc sauce, the flavours of our dishes dance an incredible ballet of balance and harmony. With his surprising and tasty food inspired from places all over, chef Romain Maillot created dishes and combinations filled which are audacious in their flavour. He is constantly looking for things that work well together, for exactly the right spice, with rare precision and curiosity which transforms dining into a memorable experience.

Our wine list contains over 300 wines. These have all been carefully selected by the team at Macbirch, our shop in Verbier. The teams spend several months every year on the road in Europe, seeking out the best wines. Passion is what drives us at La Cordée, and wine is no exception to that.
As you look at our wine list, you will find wines from many areas of France and Italy, from the Champagne region, to Bordeaux, to Burgundy and Tuscany, as well as from many areas which are not as well-known, but equally excellent. Verbier is close to a wine-growing area, where many passionate wine growers produce wines to rival the top vineyards in the world. We offer almost 80 bottles of both red and white, made here in Switzerland.
